This was a picture of me taken on the Carnival Cruise I took in April 2011. At the moment I’m using this pic as my profile on Facebook as well.

At the moment I’m sitting around with a shaved head with a few bald crop circles that are the result of brain cancer radiation. I found out about the brain cancer on July 29, 2011.

On December 20th I will be 55 years old. Luckily for me, most people don’t think I’m that old looking (or they’re over-polite). I look forward to my hair growing back and long enough to grow over the big scar received from the biopsy of my temporal lobe. Then maybe I’ll have my ‘young-at’heart’ look again instead of the weird bald look

Who is Jackson Dunlop?

I'm a middle-aged woman who's from Toronto, Canada. I was diagnosed with temporal lobe brain cancer in July 2011, so I was busy going through chemotherapy and radiation.

Radiation is finished and I'm now stuck on chemo every day which started January 2012, finishing in December this year. I have the pleasure of pills every hour from 8:00pm - and no eating 2 hours before chemo and 1 hour afterwards. Remember to eat earlier, remember to eat.

I'm a computer geek along with being a jewellery creator. One of those habits can make someone happy - I like them both.

Jackson Dunlop : Saw that my son, David Woodward, was again playing baseball. I remembered quite a number of years ago when he also played on my team. That was fun; those were the days. I joined baseball again just a few years ago and it affected every muscle in my body, so I had to quit *sniff*.
